Clip-in groundsheets provide a benefit over sewn-in. Whilst they feature all of the benefits of a sewn-in, they also tackle the negatives. Because some campsites are now stipulating that they will only allow tents and awnings to be pitched if their customers use either a breathable groundsheet or no groundsheet at all, with a clip-in, you're free to roam to any campsite with no limitations. If you had a sewn-in then you wouldn't be allowed to camp there.
