Terms and Conditions
Welcome to KHYAM
Khyam is the trading name of Silent Vale Limited (Silent Vale) whose registered address is 10 Cheyne Walk, Northampton NN1 5PT. Our company registration number is 11624105 with Vat registration number GB487 1462 63.
These are the terms and conditions on which we Silent Vale supply equipment to you via our www.khyam.co.uk website and apply to any and all purchase transactions you may make with us. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT).

Orders:
On making an order for an in-stock item:
Charges on the day of checkout apply at the vat inclusive prices disclosed at the time of order.
Delivery arrangements are also established at that time. Orders received before 2pm will in most cases be dispatched the same day on a next day service. Orders received after 2pm will be dispatched the next working day.
Shipping fees are provided at the time of purchase.
Delivery dates are approximate estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
You will be able to track your delivery from time of shipment from our warehouse.
If you place an order and wish to cancel, please ensure to cancel it before 2 pm that same day; otherwise, the product is likely to have already been shipped. We will do our utmost to assist in all situations, but once a product has been dispatched, we cannot cancel the order without you returning the item to us.
On making a pre-order for an out-of-stock item with a restocking date:
We will only collect a deposit at the time of the pre-order
This may be cancelled at any time and a full refund will be issued within 7 days.
We will guarantee the full price payable at the time of the pre-order, with the balance payable prior to shipment.
All re-stocking dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Should there be any considerable delay to the arrival of stock, we will contact you giving an option to cancel.
Delivery:
Our usual delivery fee for couriers within the UK is FREE for orders exceeding £500.00. For orders below this amount, a delivery charge of £15.00 per item applies.
Where possible, orders will be sent out on a next working day basis. Orders placed on a Friday will normally be delivered the following Monday or Tuesday if there has been a Bank Holiday on the Monday.
Delivery costs for any orders outside of the U.K would need to be quoted separately.

During our peak times, our regular delivery services might be impacted, and specific delivery information will be provided at the time of the order. Please keep in mind that weather conditions and other unexpected factors can influence delivery times, so it’s advisable to allow extra time to receive your order, and if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us first.
In normal situations, any orders made before 2 pm will be shipped out the same day (on a weekday, or the following Monday if ordered during the weekend) via a 24-hour delivery service.
Following receipt of your purchase
If you have received your purchase and have changed your mind, you may cancel your order within 30 days. However, you need to return the item to us in the original condition it was in when you received it and in the original packaging.
A full refund will be made to you within 10 working days following receipt back by us allowing us the time to check your product is in its original condition and packaging, less shipping costs of your return.
Should it not be returned in its original condition and packaging we will contact you.
All products purchased by you should be delivered in excellent condition; however, if you find any products that are damaged or defective, you must notify the company within 24 hours of receipt. This also applies to any items that may seem to be missing, unless the invoice indicates that the item is out of stock.
If you are not planning to use certain items right away, we recommend that you verify they are in perfect condition and functioning properly upon receipt.
It's essential to inspect products prior to heading out. We will not be liable for any extra costs you may incur during first or any subsequent use.
The company will make every effort to ensure your delivery arrives punctually and in good condition, but we will not be accountable for any additional expenses arising from delayed or incomplete deliveries.
Please contact us using our Returns Form and give as much detail as you can, including photos where possible.
Faults arising during use within the 12 month warranty period:
All products purchased by you should be delivered in excellent condition; however, if you find any products that are damaged or defective, or that fail during use, due to a manufacturing fault, you must notify the company as soon as possible.
All our products are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the purchase date, unless stated otherwise. If a defect arises during this time, we will either arrange for a replacement part to be sent to you, free of charge, or if this is not possible for the faulty item to be returned and repaired or replaced, following an inspection.
If an item has been damaged during use or is returned to us in an unfit state, we will contact you to discuss appropriate course of action. PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to accept items that are heavily soiled or wet. This is down to Health and hygiene reasons. If the product is received back in this state, it will be returned to you for you to return later when dry at your own cost.
Our experienced after sales service team will always be available to help and assist in all matters that do not meet your satisfaction.

Faults arising during use subsequent to the 12 month warranty period:
If a fault arises subsequent to the expiry of the warranty period, do not distress, Khyam carries spares for its products and depending upon your particular circumstance we will always be there to get your product back into full working condition as quickly as possible.
We operate a full repair service for all our products and although charges will apply, these will be on a cost basis only.
Please contact us using our Returns Form and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Legal Contract terms
Once your order for products is confirmed and the goods are despatched from our warehouse, a legal contract is established between you and Silent Vale Limited.
Products are only despatched after full payment has been received.
If the goods are not despatched within the agreed time Silent Vale reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the purchase price.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the specifications provided on this website are accurate at the time of printing; however, technical information, dimensions, and weights are intended as a guideline only. Occasionally, product specifications may change, and in those cases, we will make every effort to inform you when you place your order. All our sizes and measurements are approximate, although we strive to ensure they are as precise as possible. No guarantee is expressed or implied that the products will match the description or illustrations provided in every detail.
These terms and conditions do not compromise your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our agreement with you is governed by English law, with the applicable laws being those of England and Wales.
Discounts
Any discount code you possess for additional savings will exclusively be applicable to KHYAM products available on the site.
All discounts are only valid for purchases made in the UK through our UK website located at www.khyam.co.uk.
Discount codes cannot be used on an order once the purchase has been completed, and we will not accommodate adding discounts to orders after they have been made.
Discount codes are not valid for use on spare parts listed on our website.
